Test Accommodations for Post-Secondary Students
This law review article examines accommodations on standardized tests under the ADA. It asserts that the primary point of disagreement when a student or person seeking a professional license is denied accommodations is whether the individual has a disability under the ADA. The article points out that when a student has met the criteria to qualify to take the exam, for example the bar exam, it is difficult to prove that they are limited in a major life activity by a learning disability.
